Obituary of Joseph Rink

JOSEPH “JOE” RINK Joe passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Veterans Wing, Wascana Rehabilitation Centre at the age of 95 years. He was predeceased by his father John Rink in 1929 at age 39; mother Margaret (nee Kuntz) Rink in 1952 at age 62 years; infant daughter Audrey in March of 1948; brother F.O. Wendelin Rink, R.C.A.F died in a raid to Essen, Germany on March 11, 1945; sister Kathleen on June 6, 1970 on her birthdate; brother Frank and Katherine (Seibold); brother Anton and Clara (Ripplinger); brother Daniel and Peggy (Gardner); brother John; sister Magdalena and brother-in-law Anton Delwo. Joe is survived by his wife Ida (nee Delwo); son Robert (Yvonne Wilson); grandchildren, Melissa (Jay) Goupil and their children Brielle and Ayla; grandson Jaret (Amy); and their children Declan and Evelyn; granddaughter Katrina (Tia) and husband Ryan Hamilton and their daughters Luxin and Palmer; and grandson Calem; Joe’s daughter Selina and James Doyle; grandson Connor (Amanda) and their children Ethan, Darragh, Lauren and Ava; grandson Brion Doyle (Rhea) and their daughter Ella; brother Bernard and wife Islay and sister-in-law Kathleen (Ehmean) “John’s wife.” Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina, SK, on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Barry Anwender Celebrant. Interment in St. Ignatius Parish Cemetery, Kendel, SK.
