Obituary of Bruno Ehrlich

BRUNO EHRLICH April 11, 1930 – February 6, 2017 It is with sadness the family of Bruno announce his passing on Monday, February 6, 2017. Bruno is survived by his son Ralph (Vicki); granddaughter Trisha (Tony) Berry of Australia; grandson Ryan of Regina. He was predeceased by his wife Anita in 2006, infant son Roy in 1960, parents Emil and Angela of Germany and brother Roland of Germany. Bruno immigrated to Canada (Halifax) from Germany in 1951, where he worked his way across Canada to finally settle down in Regina. This is where he met and later married Anita. They were married for 52 years. Bruno spent greater than 30 years of his professional life as a Machinist for Inland Cement. Upon retiring, they both enjoyed travelling to warmer destinations back home to Germany and other abroad destinations. He will be remembered by the people who still congregate at the German Club where he was a dedicated member since the club's inception. Bruno was also an active member of the Karnival and Jagd-verein (Hunting) Clubs where he enjoyed good times with great friends. At the request of Bruno, no funeral will be held. A social gathering for family and close friends will be announced at a later date. A private family inurnment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bruno to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26-1735 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
