Condolences to the family and friends of Victor. I only recently learned of his passing and was deeply saddened. Victor was a stand-up person. I considered him a friend as well as my lawyer. Heaven gained another angel.

To Sandra, Alice, and the rest of Vic's family, I offer my deepest sympathy and greatest respect. You were there for him, even as he faced every challenge with single-minded determination, and I know he loved you all very much. His heart was also big enough to hold everyone he ever cared about, and his passing means a great number of us will miss him dearly. I hope you will feel supported by the outpouring of affection you will undoubtedly receive during the next while, which will surely be a reflection of his wonderful light.

Vic was the first guy in the neighborhood to extend his hand. He made it his business to find out who we were and what we were up to. That was about 10 minutes after we arrived. He was always looking out for us. Everyone on our street. The kind of guy you knew if you were ever in trouble he would be there. Our sentinel. Often offering free "advice" on any topic. It sure won't be the same without him. Our sincere condolences to Sandra, and Marley, especially, but also the rest of his loved ones, colleagues and friends. A tremendous loss for all. Hopefully he and his faithful Heidi are together again.

I first spoke to Vic on the phone in 1990. He wasn't like any lawyer I'd spoken to before. And after the call, I knew he was a friend.
Sorry for your loss.

Our deepest sympathy Sandra and family. We feel very fortunate to have known Vic over the years. We always enjoyed our mini visits outside while he walked his dog, and we will miss seeing him out and about the neighborhood. May you find strength in knowing his pain is gone, and hold on to the wonderful memories you have of him. God bless you all.
Your neighbors, Tom and Flo Byblow.

Profound sympathy to you, Sandra, and to all extended family members. Vic respected and deeply loved his family.
May everyone at Olive Waller find comfort in memories of our friend and colleague. Vic connected with ease, celebrated life with exuberance, and strove to make a difference in his world. He definitely succeeded.
Our love and fondness go with you, Vic. Sharon and Lorne Dunsmore
