Obituary of Dorothy Christina Longmore

MARCH 12, 1924 – MARCH 6, 2017 We are sorry to announce the passing of our mother Dorothy Longmore on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Martha Steinhauer; her loving husband Wilf Longmore on December 10, 2012; brothers Peter, Arnold, and Edgar; and step-brother Wifred Steinhauer; sisters Martha Johnson, Edna Delbeck and Evie Lang. Dorothy is survived by her stepbrother Randy Steinhauer; son Jim (Joyce); daughters Linda Longmore and Colleen (Ken) Brandt; son Larry (Doris); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At Dorothy’s request, a private family service will take place at a later date. Mom will be laid to rest beside dad at Riverside Memorial Park in the “Field Of Honor.” The family wishes to express their thanks to the compassionate staff at the Veterans Wing at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for the care they provided mom.
