Obituary of Morley James Thorn

MAY 18, 1943 – APRIL 13, 2017 It is with sadness that the family of Jim announces his sudden passing on Thursday, April 13, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents Morley and Margaret. Jim is survived by Alice, his loving wife of 48 years; two sons Shawn (Deanna) and Cory (Kimberly); nine grandchildren, Sara, Brandon, Hannah, Deriana, Kayden, Riley, Liam, Matthew and Mason; sister Myra Lees as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jim served in the Navy for five years and as a Civil Servant for the remainder of his career. He loved many things: dancing, gardening and quilting but his greatest love was spending time with his family. He was a true friend who everyone could count on. He will truly be missed and forever loved. A private family service will be held at a later date.
