Obituary of Clarke Butler

CLARKE ROBIN BUTLER January 22, 1948 November 17, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Clarke on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the age of 63. Clarke was employed by the City of Regina for 25 years where he made many friends that still remain today. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and family for his passion for the great outdoors. He longed for the days to be out hunting and fishing. Clarkes love for hunting started at a young age when he and a few friends took two weeks off school to go hunting for geese in Kindersley SK; the teachers were not impressed. Clarke had a quick wit and a great sense of humour. Clarke was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Deane Butler of Kenton, MB. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine; his sister Willadeane Newhouse (Jack) of Stouffville, ON; his brother Ean Butler (Miriam) of Dauphin MB; his step children, Jim Miller of Whitby, ON, and Linda Barclay (Barry) of Airdrie, AB. Clarke will be sadly missed by his aunts and cousins, his great grandchildren and grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. A GATHERING OF FRIENDS AND RELATIVES TO HONOUR CLARKES LIFE will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Chapel, 815 Assiniboine Avenue E, Regina, SK, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Interment to follow for those who wish to join us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8 or a charity of your choice.
