Obituary of Raymond Dennis Pettit

RAYMOND (RAY) DENNIS PETTIT It is with great sadness that we announce Rays sudden passing on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the age of 43. Ray will be loved always and missed greatly by his mother Norma; sister Terri Pettit (Jeff Tank), nieces Rachael, Leah and Sarah; sister Tracy Pettit (Dominique Sarny), nephew Lucas and niece Amlie; niece Melissa Netzel (Rusty Rushton and kids Rory and Keeva); Maria Pettit; David Livingstone; Shane Pearce; and many dear friends. Ray was predeceased by nephew Ryan Netzel; father Wilmer; and sister Deborah Pettit. Ray had many loves in life. He was adored by all of his nieces, nephews, godchildren, and his four-legged companion, Piper. Ray was the type of friend that others wished they had! He was a great storyteller, always had a joke...often using himself as the punch line! His friends and family knew that they could always count on him no matter the situation. Ray especially cherished his time with his Minaki family. He was an accomplished goaltender, golfer, pharmacist, and self-professed handyman. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Craig Moeller officiating.
