I met Art 50 years ago and played bridge with him many times - although I live in Toronto my parents lived in Regina so we had annual trips to Regina - they visited us at our cottage in Ontario - we visited them in Regina and Texas and have memories of many happy times. My sincere prayers are with all of his family, Betty and Olivia - may you rest in peace with a deck of cards nearby.

I met Art at the bridge table and always liked the twinkle in his eye when he managed to finagle an extra trick either as declarer or defender. I enjoyed his phone calls after a game when he would hypothesize about some play of the hand or the bidding. I will miss all that. My to condolences to his family and to Olivia. Rest in peace, Art.

Joe and I met Art through the bridge world - he was a formidable opponent, and a very nice man. He will be missed in the bridge world a lot. We are so sorry to hear of his passing.
