Obituary of James Dwight Toronchuk

James, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the age of 46. Born in Winnipeg on July 8, 1971, he was an only child and spent most of his life in Regina.  He graduated from Sheldon Collegiate and from the University of Regina.  James worked in the I.T. industry for over 20 years, most recently with SaskTel as a Technical Analyst.  He was always seen as a go-to resource for his extensive knowledge of computers and electronics. 

James enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, all genres of music, anything to do with technology, electronics and remote control car racing with his son.  He had a passion for gaming and the comradery of the gaming community.  James enjoyed a good laugh with his friends and family. His impersonations were well known.  Most and above all, he cherished his family time which included pet pugs, Peanut and Gizmo.  

James is survived by his loving wife Sherri and seven year old son Aiden; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Gary and Myra; his brother-in-law Terence, wife Thea and daughter Tristen; as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Marian.

Celebration of James’ Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.     

Flowers are most gratefully declined.  In memoriam, a trust fund has been set up for James' loving son Aiden.
