Obituary of Peter Skinnider Guthrie

Peter passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Ina, Peter is survived by his four children, Brian (Laverne), Diane (Mike), Glen, and Dale (Kelli). Papa had ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Peter was a WWII veteran, who served in the Royal Navy. He was a long time member and volunteered at the Canadian Legion. Peter was instrumental in honouring his fellow veterans. He will be buried at sea at a later date.
