Obituary of Dennis Kidd

William Dennis Kidd, late of Regina, passed away quietly at home on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the age of 74. He was born to William and Grace Kidd on August 17, 1943. Dennis was predeceased by his wife Patricia; his parents, William and Grace; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Marie Brown. He is survived by his brother Andrew; cousins, Irene (Dave) Daniels of Denver, CO and Keith Hughes of Tallahassee, FL; as well as many cousins in Ireland. Dennis had just celebrated his birthday on the 17th, and was happy and contented with what his future held. He was always a happy person and greeted everyone with a smile and a “and how are you?” Dennis overcame his disabilities and the many hardships he had in life, never letting them ruin his positive disposition and outlook about where life was taking him. He was raised in north central Regina and attended Herchmer School and Scott Collegiate, before becoming involved in the furniture business. Dennis married Patricia Brown in 1981 and loved their life together until her passing in 1998. He enjoyed being an active member of his housing cooperative until age and physical impairments put limits on his participation. Graveside Service will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK, on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Please meet outside the cemetery gate.
