I am so very sorry for your loss. Maggie was a classmate of mine and I remember the fun we had during those school days... later we reconnected when she ran the Notre Dame bingos and I helped out then...

To all the Chartiers and DeLaets, I'm sorry for your loss.
Is there anything that Maggie couldn't do? She was one of the most capable people I've ever met, and had so much talent and drive. I can see her in my mind's eye, as Diamond Lil, dressed up like a saloon girl complete with fishnet stockings and a big purple feather sticking out of her hair. No one could have played that role been better than her. And she could sing to boot -- and was the life of the party. She was so much fun!
And then she became "The Cake Lady" building birthday and wedding cakes in her spare time -- how she found that time, I'll never know. I remember Jacquie McLean and I did a story on her in Journalism school. I wonder what ever happened to all those tapes.
Guy, you picked a great girl, that's for sure. Please accept my condolences.
