Dear Renee, I was so very sorry to read of Peter's passing, and want to extend Obies and my sincere sympathy to you and to your family . After reading about his many accomplishments I realize what a remarkable man he was. He certainly lived every moment of his life, and contributed so much to others to promote fitness and knowledge of many enjoyable sports. You and your family will have many wonderful memories, and stories to comfort you, and will always feel such great pride when you recall them.
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers, and I am sending big hugs to you Renee, you are such a beautiful lady in so many ways. I truly feel your sorrow, and your loss.

Peter and Renee are among the most memorable and inspirational people my wife Donna and I have ever met. For years we were members of the Regina Ski Club. We were always astounded with Peter and Renee's energy and expertise on Nordic skis. And in life. They remain an inspiration to us. And what a legacy Peter has left to many. Take care of yourself Renee. We'll not see the likes of Peter again. But somewhere today he's leaving some younger whipper snappers trying to catch him on a Nordic trail or on the water.

It was extremely sad to hear of the passing of Peter. He was such a great man and friend to the "Little" family. I would consider him to be a "master teacher" as he taught me many of life's key points while I was a teenager, and he showed my father the beauty of life and nature combined as one. Our love of the north, is a direct result of our friendship with Peter. Our prayers are with Renee and family.

I met Peter when we would practice paddling on the ice choked Wascana Creek. He was a great teacher of the art. I soon learned I would never match his furious strong strokes. He was a true gentleman, had a great sense of humor and a love of nature. We spent many days and nights traveling the waters of Northern Saskatchewan.

Renee, Shelley and Sandra...
My love and prayers go out to you. It's Very difficult to understand, when tears are welling up in your eyes, your heart is heavy...and at the same time brilliant, hilarious, powerful, respectful, laugh filled memories are flooding through your mind. From canoeing to skiing, from Grey Cup parties to a beer at the cottage...and everything in between. I will never forget Peter showing me how to "skate ski" in the mountains. I thought I was the king of the hill...until this guy twice my age BLEW BY like I was standing still. Lol. Thank you...for being the best friend(s) Mom and Dad, and us kids could ever dream of. My love and prayers go out to you. R.
