Obituary of Celeta Grace Inkster
CELETA GRACE INKSTER (NEE BROWN)
MARCH 7, 1921 - DECEMBER 13, 2017
Celeta was born in Welch, Oklahoma on March 7, 1921 to Dr. Elmer and Mrs. Glenora Brown and she passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the age of 96 years. She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband Robert Green; her second husband Gordon Inkster; her second son Tom Inkster; her daughter-in-law Cindy Inkster; and her great-granddaughter Paige Green. Celeta leaves to mourn two sons, John (Sandra) Green of Medicine Hat/Yuma, and Richard Inkster of Calgary; grandchildren, Patrick (Tannis) Green of Grand Coulee, Natasha (Colin) Butters of Duchess and Amy and Jesse Inkster of Calgary; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Tyson Green, Nathan and Emily Butters; as well as her second son Tom's wife Gail Gislason of Calgary. Celeta was a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Phi since 1945, a thirty plus year member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1 and a long-time member of the Regina Senior Citizens Centre. At Celeta’s request there will be no formal funeral service. Following cremation Celeta will be interred with her late husband Gordon Inkster in the Soldiers Plot at Riverside Memorial Park, Regina, SK.
