Obituary of Alice Robinson
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alice on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age of 95 years. She was born at Maryfield, Saskatchewan in 1922. She completed her schooling there and then went on to attend Normal School in Saskatoon where she received her teaching certificate. She then returned to Maryfield and taught at Amethyst School. Alice met and married Wilfred Robinson and they settled on a farm in the Maryfield district where they farmed for more than 50 years and raised four children. After Wilf’s passing in 2000, she moved to Saskatoon and then to Regina where she spent her last few years. Alice was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend with an infectious sense of humor and an enduring faith in her lord Jesus Christ. She was cherished by her family and will be dearly missed. Alice is survived by her four children, Laurie (Gayle), Rick (Dori), Todd (Elaine), and Terri (Don) Lawrence; twelve grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at the Maryfield Cemetery.
