Obituary of Norman Ray Fisher
NORMAN RAY FISHER
JUNE 9, 1922 – JANUARY 2, 2018
Norman passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the age of 95 years at William Booth Special Care Home in Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his first wife, Herriot; grandson, Scott Vance; parents, Hillis “Ross” and Josephine (nee Anticknap) Fisher; brother, Gordon; sisters, Hazel Witham and Meryl Binns; step-daughter, Lynda Poole. Norman will be remembered by his daughter, Rae Belsher of Regina, SK, granddaughter, Lynn (Grant) Noll of Coronach, SK, great-grandchildren, Christopher (Tiu), great-great-grandson Talon, Curtis (Jennie) and Jaclyn Noll of Coronach, SK, Kaitlyn (Tucker) Boyd of Hysham, Montana, grandson, Michael (Caroline) Belsher and great-grandson, Justin Belsher of Regina, SK; daughter, Gail (Larry) Vance of Regina, SK, grandson, Cory (Margarita) Vance, great-grandchildren, Alexia and Jonathan Vance of Calgary, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his second wife, Ethel Fisher and her daughter Sandra (Dick) Leigh and family and her son Sheldon (Brenda) Zahn and family. Norman worked for Sears for 42 years. Three and a half of those were served in the Air Force during the Second World War. Sears credited him for that time served. He retired in 1982. Norman was an avid Rider fan, holding season tickets for many years. The family wishes to thank the staff at Ashton, Sunset and William Booth for his care. There will be no funeral. Interment to take place at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
