PEGGY SHAU-HAR LEE
OCTOBER 29, 1949 – JANUARY 23, 2018
Peggy Shau-Har Lee of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents Tang Kee and Ho Sai Oi. One of four siblings, Peggy was born in Hong Kong on October 29, 1949 where she spent most of her childhood. In September of 1970, she moved to Regina, Saskatchewan to attend school, which she proudly called her home for the past 47 years. She graduated from the University of Regina in 1977 and promptly began her almost 32 year career with Canada Post. Energetic and adventurous, she traveled all over the world from Alaska and Cuba to Hungary and Japan. Peggy loved music, making memories with friends and family, and applying her creativity and artisanal skills to create a variety of crafts, food, and new projects. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 41 years, Lucian Lee; their two children Arthur (Joscelin) and Vincent; her two grandchildren, Cordelia and Bennett; sisters Joanna (Sam) and Betty (Dennis); brother Simon (Amy); and many relatives and friends across the country and the world. Visitation will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, the following day, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, any memorial donations may be made to the Lee family and will be distributed to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care unit and Asthma Canada.
