Obituary of Alma Schmidt

ALMA SCHMIDT Alma (nee Manz) late of Cupar Nursing Home, previously of Earl Grey district, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Henry, son Clarence, sister Helen and brother Erhart. Alma is survived by one daughter Ruth (Harvey) Linzmayer and their children Loretta (Terry) Young, Janice (Glen) Ritter, Steven (Jill) Linzmayer; three sons Douglas (Barbara) and their children Ryan (Denise), Tara (Aaron) Schweitzer, Greg (Nicole), Riley (Stefanie); Vernon (Beverly) and their children Aryn, Regan (Charity); Delbert (Mary) and their children Tom, Mandy, Hannah; one daughter-in-law Gloria and her children Kathy (Bryan) Neill, Kevin (Linda), Nancy (Jeff) Webb, David, Marlene (Ray) Benjamin, Glen (Carrie); and 15 great grandchildren; two sisters Elsie Petrowicz, Clara Gee, one brother Wilfred Manz, brother and sister in-laws , Ernest Schmidt, Erna Hudolin, Valentine (Emma) Schmidt, Alfred (Martha) Schmidt and a dear family friend Con (Ida) Koot and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, Earl Grey with Pastor Richard Engel officiating.
