Obituary of Duncan Earl Yanko

DUNCAN EARL YANKO (Inglis) Duncan passed away at the Pasqua Hospital on December 20, 2011. He was born January 11, 1962 at Broadview, SK. In 1965 he moved to Melville, where he received his education, graduating from Melville Comprehensive School in 1980. He worked at IMC Esterhazy for four years and then began work as a glazier in the window and door industry, until he became ill in August of 2011. Duncan enjoyed baseball and hockey and was a diehard NFL fan. He is survived by his beloved son, Anton (8), step-daughter Amanda (12); his mother and step-father, Shirley and Henry Michalski; the mother of the children, Kerry Linsley; close family friend Kaylie McDonald; six step siblings and a host of good friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers an educational trust fund has been set up for the children.
