Obituary of Sebastian Jebamalai
Mani was born in Ragalla a Tea Estate in the Hill country in Sri Lanka. He came to Colombo, Sri Lanka as a teenager seeking a better life. When he was lost in the big city one the friends found him and brought him to the home of Mr and Mrs James Samuels. He served in their home for many years and moved to Canada, with them he stayed with Frank and Ruth Samuels till they moved to Hawaii and then with Prosper and Beulah Fernando in Regina. A true servant he was treated more as an adopted son, and was fiercely loyal to the family and his friends for many years till he died. Mani always loved the friends of the Fellowship and chose to serve God in 2002. He loved the ministers, friends in his church and made many friends in the City. Children were intrigued by him and followed him for his candy and cookies. He will be missed by Frank, Ruth and Jonathan Samuel in Hawaii and Beulah and Joe (Surendra) Fernando in Regina Sask, and many friends. His ashes will be flown to Hawaii and laid to rest beside his beloved "Mother" Malathi Samuels."
“WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT"
