Dear Bud and family,
We would like to pay our respects in memory of your dear mom, Luverne. She was a grand lady who lived a long and interesting life. Many years ago we played bridge with your mom and dad, Sam, and with our family, visiting them at their cottage at Regina Beach. We even got to inspect Sam’s bee hives and sample a little honey! They were a wonderful couple.

Dear Bud and Joan.
Please give our condolences to your brother and sisters. Haven’t seen them for so, many years since our old days on the little beach in front of our cottages. Those were great days.
We also saw Luverne and Sam in Palm Desert and were so,happy we had them for Christmas dinner before Sam passed away.
Your Mom certainly lived a long life as Bud and I have talked about on occasion. Such a healthy person.
Hugh and I are so sorry we are unable to come tomorrow. Thursday we have a couple of appointments we have to keep. Just wanted you to know we had enjoyed our relationship in past years and no matter the circumstances it is hard to lose your mother physically.
