HALVORSON, Gary David

Gary, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his soul mate of 39 years, Carol; daughter, Kristi (Shaun) DeWolfe; grandchildren, Emma and Lucas; son Kyle; grand-puppies, Betty and Moose; brothers, Gord (Tracey) and Marlowe (Shelley); sister-in-law Denise (Rod) Luciuk; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Ryan, Tyler, Kayla, Jeremy, Robyn, Michael, Diane, and Anna. Gary fought to the bitter end to stay with us. Unfortunately, cancer won the battle. He preferred to say he was living with cancer, rather than dying from cancer. His motto was “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain!” Thank you to Dr. Aslam, Monica, and all the Chemo. Room Staff, “Gary’s Harem.” You took such good care of him! Lobo, Satch and Chinook have waited patiently for you at the Rainbow Bridge. Now you can all cross together and run free! Memorial Service will be held at Prince of Peace of Lutheran Church, 935 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina, SK, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood or platelets, or make a memorial donation in Gary’s name to a charity of your choice.
