Obituary of Nettie Eleanor Young

NETTIE ELEANOR YOUNG January 10, 1925 December 28, 2011 In loving memory of Nettie, late of Regina, SK, who passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her parents Edith and Frederick Yates, her husband Tom, brothers Frank, Fred, Tom and sister Bea. Nettie is survived by son Garry (Carole) of Saskatoon, SK, daughter Joanne (Howie) of Calgary, AB; granddaughter Nicole (Matt) of Red Deer, AB; brothers Harry (Shirley), Edwin and sister Marj, sisters-in-law Helen and Bertha; and many nieces and nephews. Nettie worked in the Prince Albert area before joining the RCAF, Womens Division in 1943. After discharge in 1946 and getting some business schooling, she worked in Regina until 1950. Nettie farmed with Tom in the Findlater area until their retirement. Nettie was active in the community and enjoyed family, gardening, cards and travel. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers most gratefully declined.
