CARL SULLIVAN April 13, 1943 February 8, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Carl Sullivan on February 8, 2013. Carl is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol; son Barry and family (Corrina, Ryan and Katelyn) of Okotoks, son Trevor and family (Janet, Jill, and Chantel) of Regina; sister May Kirsh of Milroy, MN; nephews Michael, David, and Robert Kirsh and families of Milroy MN; niece Kelly Sullivan of Saskatoon; nephew Keith Sullivan and family (Tracy and Zachary) of Regina; and sister-in-law Charlene Sullivan of Regina. Carl was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret Sullivan of Regina; in-laws Ignatz Frank? and Henrietta Nohrer of Regina; brother-in-law Bernard Kirsh of Milroy, MN; and brother Orlay Sullivan. Carl was born, raised, and lived his entire life in Regina and leaves behind a vast quantity of friends he developed over his lifetime. His academic undertakings began at Herchmer School, Scott Collegiate, and Notre Dame at Wilcox. His early career endeavours began with Coca Cola in Regina, and moved onto his career at Canada Post where he worked for 25 years prior to his retirement. Many people remember Carl as Sugar Daddy? through his personal business of selling candy floss, candy apples, snow cones, among other items at Evraz Place and Brandt Centre for almost four decades. This work also took him to Katepwa Beach and the Moose Jaw Wild Animal Park over the years. Carl was part of DeMolay Canada in his early days where many long friendships were formed. Later he was involved with the Lions Club of Regina. His passions outside of work included camping, fishing, and travelling wherever possible. Public Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 7:00 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
