Obituary of Lloyd Nicholas Strelioff
STRELIOFF, Lloyd Nicholas
Lloyd, age 81 of Langham Saskatchewan (son of the late Ann and Mike Strelioff) passed away on November 20, 2017. Lloyd was born near Borden, Saskatchewan in 1936. He worked in the oil fields of Saskatchewan in the 1950’s and for Kramer Tractor of Saskatoon in the early 1960’s. He married Margorie Evelyn Gosling of Ogema, Saskatchewan (daughter of the late May and Lawrence Gosling) in 1962. In the mid 1960’s, he moved to Purdue, Saskatchewan where he opened a farm implement dealership called “Lloyd Tractor and Equipment.” He sold that business in 1972 and moved his family to Regina, Saskatchewan to become a sales and service representative for Sioux Tools Inc. Over the years, Lloyd also worked for Morris Rod Weeder Ltd., was again self-employed in the automotive field with a business called Precision Automotive Shop Equipment (P.A.S.E.), and worked for Cooper Tools Ltd. In the mid to later 1980’s, Lloyd and Evelyn moved to Saskatoon where Lloyd worked in the oil and mining equipment manufacturing industries. His final work was for Standard Machine of Saskatoon. Lloyd was business minded, and had architectural and engineering interests. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and creative hobbies in his garage shop. His wife Evelyn passed on March 2, 2018. They are survived by their three children Brian, Patricia (husband Adam) Faithfull and Carol (life partner Murray Walton); and by five grandchildren, Nicole, Tori, and Bronwyn (Patricia’s) and Takeo and Takara (Carol’s). Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
