Obituary of Dianne Barbara Lyla Stromich
Dianne passed away in her 83rd year on Friday, May 4, 2018 guided by her faith, family, and friends. She was predeceased by husband Karl Stromich (2012); first husband R.G.(Bob) Bryant (1986); companion Andy Kovatch (1998); and parents Gwen and Rosswell E.D. Beer of Toronto, ON. Dianne is survived by sons David (Flo) of Tampa Florida , Steve (Margaret) of Waterloo, ON, and Andrew (Joanne) of Regina, SK; Dianne was Grandma to Sarah, Katie, Nick (Tampa), Alex, Thomas, Sam (Waterloo), and she recently welcomed Kristin, Alex and Joseph to her family; sister Kim Breslin (Ron) of North Bay; brother Ross Beer (Jo-Anne) of Toronto; sisters-in-law Helen Bryant (Bert) Pickering, and Ruth Bryant (Ken) of Toronto; cousins Joan Mattis (Ken) of Calgary, Doug Clarke (Lorna) of Kingsville; as well as family in Calgary and Toronto. Mom was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi, joining in Canora and continuing for 50 years. She enjoyed sunsets with Karl at his cottage at Colesdale Park and spent her final year comfortably at College Park II Retirement Residence, welcoming guests, telling stories, building new friendships and rekindling old ones. The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation, at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends so wishing may make memorial donations in Dianne’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3.
