Obituary of Violet Hubic
On Sunday May 20, 2018, Vi peacefully left the physical world to join the love of her life and best friend of 45 years, Ness. Vi was born on the farm outside of Arran, SK on May 29, 1938 and resided in Regina since 1955. She was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Anastasia Hawryluk; her siblings; and numerous in-laws. Vi will be lovingly remembered by her children, Scott (Nancy), Tami, Tara, Tim (Krista), and Lana (Warren); grandchildren, Jed (Jenny), Brady (Stacy), Savannah (Paulo), Jesse, Rhett, Frankie, Ashley (Brennen), Alyssa (Kale), Mackenzie, Nikkoli (Heather), Jonathan, Jeffery (Camille), Abbie, Jarret, Michael (Justin), Brookelyn (Austin) and Jaden; great-grandchildren, Rylie, Caleb, Emmitt and Brexley; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Descent of the Holy Spirit, 1305-12th Ave, Regina, SK, on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Private family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations in Vi’s name to the 3A Palliative Ward at the Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 1A5.
Peacefully sleeping, resting at last,
