Obituary of Hazel Dorothy Howard
Hazel Dorothy Howard/Chambers, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on June 9th, 2018 at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her parents: William and Elizabeth; sons: Patrick and Allan. Hazel a WWII veteran was also predeceased by sisters: Ida (veteran), Marge (veteran), Jean (veteran), Mary and Blanch; and brothers: Bruce (veteran), Martin (veteran, KIA) and Ray. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Joanne; granddaughter, Michelle Howard; daughter-in-law, Sandra Erickson; three great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel was known for her kindness, generosity, sociability, love of animals and acceptance of all lifestyles. Interment will take place at St. Matthew's Forest Farm north of Whitewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hazel’s name to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK, S4P 3G7 or to the Salvation Army, 2240 13th Ave, Regina, SK, S4P 3M7.
