Obituary of Eric Wesley Depeel

ERIC WESLEY DEPEEL Jan 22, 1993 Jan 1, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son at the age of 18 on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Eric was born The Rosetown New Years Baby? on January 22, 1993 in Rosetown, SK to parents Cyndee Depeel and Wesley Chaskavich. Eric attended school in Clavet, SK Grades 1 to 6. The family then moved to White City, SK in 2005 where Eric attended the White City School for grades 7 and 8 and for Grades 9 to 12 Eric attended Greenhall High School in Balgonie, SK graduating in June 2011. Eric was happiest when he was busy busy drawing animals or butterflies, or just busy outside working on lawn motor engines, his dirt bike, quad or car. He also would work for cash? for his uncles and aunts and special friends or just help out a buddy when they needed it. Eric had the get er done attitude.? Eric was a very sensitive, loving young man. He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, skating, cross country skiing, or just sitting at the fire pit at home with a fire roaring and the music cranked all the way up. Eric was a real sportsman, he played minor hockey with Prairie Storm for many years and spent a little bit of that time in the penalty box? taking one for the team. He also enjoyed playing High School Football with the Balgonie Griffins. Erics first job was as a Paperboy with the Leader Post. He also worked as a Material Handler at Brandt Eng. Prod. Ltd in Regina then moved into the construction trade where he was a roofer with Triple B Roofing in Regina. Eric just had to be outside, up high, enjoying the view.? Eric is survived by his loving parents Cyndee Depeel and Wesley Chaskavich, brothers Nathan Depeel (12) and half brother Joshua Depeel (22) along with many relatives and friends. Eric is predeceased by, grandfathers Ralph Depeel and Mathew Chaskavich, and grandmother Elizabeth Chaskavich. Also predeceased by his aunties Linda Chaskavich and Agnes Chaskavich and uncles Gord Chaskavich, Dave Chaskavich, James Donovan and Franz Zeidler.
