Obituary of Corinne Annis Cameron

CORINNE CAMERON (nee Wilson) Corinne, of the Resort Village of B-Say-Tah, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1979 and her six siblings. She is survived by one son, Greg, of Chicago, two daughters, Jane Anne (Tom Spoering) of Calgary, and Nancy (David Altwasser) of Regina, six grandchildren, Kym, Chris, Paul, Kelly, Doug and Jeff, and Sandra and Norm, a niece and nephew who were very special to her, both of Alberta. She also had numerous other nieces and nephews throughout Canada. Corinne trained to be a nurse at Montreal General Hospital. She worked as a nurse for forty years, working at Montreal General, Toronto Sick Kids, Regina Grey Nuns and Saginaw General Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Corinne loved being a nurse, especially pediatrics, and at the time of her retirement was an Assistant Director of Nursing. She spent much of her time working for the nurses alumni association. Corinne had fond memories of B-Say-Tah from childhood and returned there upon retiring. She was a dedicated councillor for the village for seven years. She will be remembered by family, friends and neighbours as a person who would never hesitate to offer assistance whenever she saw a need, big or small.
