Obituary of Mary Lowenberger

MARY LOWENBERGER (nee Tokar) September 18, 1922 January 14, 2012 Mary, late of Regina SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Herbert, grandson Albert, and her parents William and Carrie, Mary is survived by her loving children Bob (Leona), Ron (Terry), Gilbert, Linda (Gary), and Don (Judy). Also surviving is her brother Peter (Mary), sister-in-law Viola, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was raised in the Calder, SK district and moved to Regina along with Dad in 1946 where she lived until her passing. Most of her years were spent as a homemaker and caregiver to her family. In later years her time was spent reading and doing word puzzles. She will very much be missed by those who knew and loved her. The family is thankful and appreciative of the care Mom received while a resident of Sunset Extendicare. At Moms request there will be no formal funeral service.
