Obituary of Peter Paul Lys

PETER LYS On Thursday, February 2, 2012, Peter Lys, of Regina, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, after a brief illness. He was born in Jedburgh, SK on April 11, 1933. Peter was predeceased by his parents George and Lydia and his brother John. He is survived by his children: Terry (Lynn) Hart and their children Corey, Nikki (Mike) and Kaylum; Deborah (Alexander) McPherson; Sandra (John) Gordon and their children Kara Paige and Septima; Tracey (Jim) Fletcher and their children Chris and Tasha; Barry (Kathy) Lys and their children Chad and Jenna. Also surviving Peter is his brother Mike (Isabelle) Lys; sister-in-law Esther Lys; his loving companion Phyllis Erickson; great-grandchildren Keely, Gavin, Veda, Emmit, Rafe, Deva, Wesson, Jordon, Kaliya, Jackson, Isaiah; and other family members. Our family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff in 3F of the Regina General Hospital for all the kind and compassionate care Dad received during his stay and making his last hours comfortable.
