Obituary of Maurice Conrad LeBlanc

MAURICE MOE? LeBLANC October 22, 1934 February 17, 2012 It is with sadness that the family of Moe LeBlanc announces his passing on February 17, 2012 in Regina, SK. Moe graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a BA Honors in Geology in 1958. He worked in his chosen field as geologist, senior geologist, geological consultant, as project geologist and senior geological specialist before retiring in 1992. Moe was predeceased by his parents Gloria and Armand LeBlanc and his sister Roseanne Grismer. He is remembered fondly by his brother Roland, his sister Sr. Marilyn LeBlanc and his nephews Chris and Rob, his niece Dana and their families and his many friends. He was known for his subtle wit and gentle smile and great generosity towards those in need, especially refugees, women and children. Moe was a great lover of books and music. He possessed an amazing personal library of more than 17,500 books and thousands of CDs and long play records. A private burial of the ashes will take place in the spring.
