Obituary of Kay Lynn Zackrisson

KAY ZACKRISSON 1947 2011 It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Kay Zackrisson, on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, in Regina, SK. Kay was born on October 25, 1947 in Preeceville, SK. She leaves behind her loving husband John, of 24 years and her beloved daughter, Victoria. As well she leaves behind her 11 siblings: Bonnie, Darlene, Patsy, Judy, Candy, Cindy, Les, Larry, Tracey, Jackie and Bob, multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends. She is predeceased by her mother and father Pauline and Raymond Lebo. Kay was a teacher, teaching in Canora, SK and Great Whale River, QC. As well, she taught at Albert School and substitute taught for various schools in Regina, SK. Kay was also a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Olsen Realty, Re/Max and Century 21 Realty. While being a teacher and real estate workers were her profession, they were not what defined her. Above all things, Kay was a loving person. She loved literature, quilting, her backyard and garden, music and keeping in touch with friends. She loved teaching, helping others and being in the company of other people. But most of all, she loved her family (daughter and husband). She loved them deeply and fervently, willing to do whatever she could to spend time and create long lasting memories with them. She was a loving mother, a wonderful wife, an amazing sister, a gracious aunt, a fantastic friend, and will be greatly missed. The Memorial Service will be held at Bread of Life Lutheran Church, 3018 Doan Drive, Regina, SK on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. There will be no interment at this time.
