Obituary of Edward Henry Yanz

EDWARD HENRY YANZ 1921-2011 Edward Henry Yanz passed away peacefully December 8, 2011 at the D.V.A. Ward in Regina at the age of 90. Ed was born on March 3, 1921 at Cottonwood, SK to parents Frank and Julie Yanz. Ed was predeceased by his beautiful and loving wife Anne, of 62 years. He is survived by son Wayne (Linda), granddaughter Renee (Kory), grandson Mike (Kelly), and great grandchildren Dylan, Joel, Ryan, Jenna and Matthew; sister Margaret (Alfred), and sister Helene and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed worked for Regina City Police for 32 years and especially enjoyed his motor bike days. Eds passion was repairing cars for friends and family. He also had a great love of dogs. Wayne would like to thank Auntie Anne and Cousin Lloyd for joining him on those special visits to see Ed. Special thanks to Ward 3-5 and 3-6 for their very special care and attention in Eds three years at the Wascana.
