Obituary of Mary Theresa Eberts

On Wednesday, January 4, 2012, Mary Eberts, late of Regina, SK, passed away at the age of 94 years. Mary was born in the Lumsden area on November 21, 1917. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Margaret and her siblings Harry, Bill (Reg), Walter (Mary), John (Edie) and Mike as well as brother-in-law John Petryna. Mary is survived by her children Patricia Mielke, Ken (Claire), Marlene (Ron) Tkatchuk and Linda (Lyle) Petryna; grandchildren Derrek (Eva), Chrissy (Craig) Popescu, Neil Tkatchuk, Marc Tkatchuk, Kelly (Kelsey) Petryna, Jamie (Jeanette) Petryna and Jeff (Vivian) Petryna; great-grandchildren Kasey, Frank, Jesse, Jenna, Julia, Koen and Karys; sister Anne Petryna; sister-in-law Ann as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mary was a thoughtful and kind mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took pride in her gardening, cooking and most of all her beloved family. Mary was renowned by family for her card playing skills. She will be dearly missed by all. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilias R.C. Church, 5020-7th Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. J.B. Okai, officiating. A private family interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
