So very sorry to hear about the loss of Michelle. She was my sons grade 1 teacher for a little while in the year 2001. Our son and the rest of our family remember how kind and sweet she was with her students. She was a lovely person. We are so very sorry for your loss.

As well as our "work talk", we had a great personal visit. Her love for all of you was evident in our conversation, as it always was. Mrs. Gray, Tania & Christine and to Michelle’s husband and children,
I grew up with Michelle and we went to elementary and high school together. We had many sleepovers at each other’s houses and plenty of laughs. We got into trouble together, we ate gooseberries off the shrub in her backyard. We walked to elementary school together and would eat lunch at each other’s houses. Time and distance have kept us apart over the years but I will never forget how kind, caring and genuine she was, or her laugh. I will always keep our memories close to my heart because she was very special. She will be missed. My deepest sympathies to you all, there really are no words to describe how saddened I am to hear of her passing. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time . Michelle was one of the most beautiful women, inside and out, I have ever known. I had the privilege and honour, of working with Michelle at Hawrylak before I retired and then this past year, our grandson was so very fortunate to have her as his math teacher in kindergarten there. He absolutely adored her as did all the kids! My husband and I volunteered regularly as math helpers to go into the classroom. Was wonderful to see her again as she worked her magic in the classroom! Many children over the years have been blessed to have had her as their teacher.
She will be missed.
