Obituary of Reginald Ernest Bagwell

Reg Bagwell went to be with Jesus, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was 68 years old and had lived all his life in Regina. Reg’s battle with the infamous brain tumour, glioblastoma, had lasted 11 years. He is now well and strong and joyful. We will miss Reg every day but rejoice with him. He is in his forever home. Reg was predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Winnie Bagwell; and two little grandsons, Dylan and Zedekiah. He leaves behind his sister Pat Bagwell; brother Doug (Linda) Bagwell of Air Ronge, SK. Reg will be missed more than words can say, by his wife Rhonda; and his children, Chris (Robin) Bagwell, Nicole (Tony) Schlotter, and Michelle (Dustin) Rapitta; step-children, Anna (Steve Jeske) Rose and Ben Rose. There are ten grandchildren left without their Papa, Jonni, Cameron, Parker, Tyrese, Atley, Mahalia, Ezekiel, Isadora, Beren, and Fox. As well as cousins and nephews, and many friends that he considered family. They will all miss his hugs. Reg will also be lovingly remembered by the people he worked with at CKCK television and SIAST, the Pats, Rider games, CASARA, and Living Skies Chorus, and the people he worshipped with at Living Hope Alliance Church and Harvest City Church. Memorial Celebration will be held at Harvest City Church, 2202 8th Avenue North, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. followed by coffee and dainties. Private interment will be held prior to the service. As flowers are so fleeting, Reg would like instead for donations to be made to the Zambian Orphanage, where he has an "adopted daughter" named Grace. He prayed for her daily, and would love to see the children there be blessed by their Canadian grandpa. This can be done online at harvestcity.ca/give (indicate Global Focus as type, in memory of Reg) or by cheque payable to Harvest City Church.
