Gerry and I had common interests in hockey (The Boston Bruins), and baseball (he the Yankees and me the Red Sox). We made annual bets each baseball season and the play-offs, and much to my dismay, I ended up on the loosing end of those bets more often than I'd like to remember. Of course, Gerry being Gerry , he never let an opportunity pass when he had a chance to rub it in each time his Yankees won a game against the Red Sox, or indeed won the world series. RIP Brother Gerry.
