Obituary of Marie Eugenie McCreight

Marie Eugenie McCreight, late of Regina, died peacefully in the presence of family at the age of 92 on Friday, September 28, 2018. Predeceased by her parents, Alain LeSann and Euphrasie Kerleroux; husband Max; son Robert; brothers, Frank, Alain, and Armand; sister Anne-Marie Bansfield; brothers-in-law, Joe Raverty and Normand Bernard; and sisters-in-law, Kathy and Doris, Marie is survived by sons James and Pat; daughter Caitrin Malone (Paul); grandchildren, Jamie, Crystal, Patrick, Daniel, Maeve, and Jane; great-granddaughter Isadora; brother Yves (Ellie); sisters, Euphrasie (Hubert) Clement, Josephine Bernard, and Aline Raverty; brother-in-law Irving Bansfield; sister-in-law Emma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Marie was a teacher with Regina Catholic Schools, working particularly with special needs students. She was an innovative leader in special education and her love of children and learning was an intrinsic part of her nature. Mom's life was shaped by great love of family, a passion for teaching and her deep trust in God.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Pepler, Kyla and the nurses on 4B at the Pasqua Hospital, and Dove House care providers. Prayers will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2104 Garnet Street, Regina, SK on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
