Obituary of Edgar George Phillips

PHILLIPS, Edgar G. “Budd”

Budd, the second son of Joseph and Margaret Phillips, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Born on December 28, 1928, he was raised, educated, and worked in Indian Head, before moving to Regina in 1952 to work in the Provincial Health Department (SHSP) until retiring in 1987. Budd and Dianne Fraser were married in December 1965 and enjoyed curling, golfing, and cross-country skiing during their working years, as well as in retirement. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dianne; his parents; sister-in-law Mimi Phillips; and brother-in-law John Buchanan. Budd is survived by his brother Gerald Phillips, Estevan, SK; sister-in-law Sandra Buchanan, Shawnigan Lake, BC; nephew Joey (Bonnie) Phillips, Regina, SK; and niece Barbara (Brian) Fornwald, Lampman, SK. Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 3233 Argyle Road, Regina, SK on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations in memory of Budd to a charity of choice.
