Obituary of Patrick Paul Bernakevitch

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend Patrick (Pat aka Tap?) Bernakevitch. Pat was a gentle, caring and sincere man who took pride in his entire family, with his greatest pride being his two sons. Tap enjoyed kibitzing and joking around during his valued times spent with family and friends. He always looked forward to holidays and family functions at which time his love for the Montreal Canadians shone through. Pat will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorelei; his sons Paul (Kim) and David (Christine); his brother Wayne (Marj); his godmother Aunty Emily; his sisters-in-law Margaret (Denis), Nadine (Bob) and Nolene (Merv); along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephews, aunts, cousins and several precious friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Josie Bernakevitch. Our sincere gratitude is extended to the medical staff of the Pasqua Hospital ICU for their exceptional care and compassion for their patient and patients family. In lieu of flowers (our cats eat them), donations may be made in memoriam to the Canadian Liver Foundation, National Office, 801 - 3100 Steele Avenue East, Markham, ON, L3R 8T3. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. North, Regina, SK on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brad Fahlman, celebrant.
