Dear Mike, Carrie loved you from the moment she met you. From then on there was one place she was going to ever be – with you. She followed you to Ottawa without the tiniest second thought. It was obvious that you also cherished her. It is so wonderful when two people have the blessing of God to meet and marry the love of their lives. She was so blessed to have you at her side for nearly 50 years. I am so thankful that she had you to take care of her in all of this. No one could have done it better! And now, God bless you and heal your heart. I’m so sorry for you loss. Richard and Patrick also wish to extend their condolences to you at this time. My siblings (Paul, Kathy & Rich) are saddened to hear of Carol's passing. As cousins of Carol & Donna, we had many joyous times out at their farm during our growing-up years. Every minute of every day we spent visiting together at their place was an adventure we'll never forget !! And Carol was always a big & welcoming part of those visits !! God rest her soul.

Mike & Family, I am heartbroken to hear of Carol's passing. Carol was the most kindest, caring and giving person I have ever known. She taught me so much and I am a stronger woman because of her guidance and love. She called me a couple of weeks ago while we were away on holidays, I told her I would call when we got back. I was going to call her tomorrow! I as sorry that we didn't keep in touch as much in the last few years. I wish Carol had reached out to me as I have been dealing with my Sister's breast cancer journey. But I guess it wasn't meant to be. The time I spent with Carol, she always, always talked about her family! She was the proudest Mother. Both of us having one son around the same age, we compared notes! Craig was her everything! Of course, we both went through trials and tribulations but our children were put above all. She always had kind, loving words about Craig and his children. I am sure that Brooklyn and Brayden will miss her dearly. Mike you were Carol's rock. She would tell me all the things you would do for her, you were always there for her.....she was so grateful, all the time. I can't imagine the hole you will have in your life without Carol. Please call me if there is anything I can do. I will pray for you all, that God will help you through this difficult time. Again, I am so, so sorry! Love Liz
