BERTSCH, Linda Caroline

Linda Caroline Bertsch late of Earl Grey, SK, born in Lampman, SK on November 12, 1945, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Fredrick and Minnie and her sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Don Ball. She is survived by her nephew, Shannon (Kimberly) Ball; a great niece and great nephew; and her caregivers, Lorna and Jim Greenway. Linda was always ready to do whatever was good, to never allow a bad word come out of her mouth, she was always peaceful and considerate to others and she never failed to be gentle to other people or animals. She always loved to stop and pet her kittens and dog. Every day her main goal was to help everyone in her home any way she was able. Her greatest love was the Lord. She would stop to pray for anyone no matter what she was busy doing. She loved giving the blessing before meals. She was so grateful for everything God gave her every day. She had a beautiful voice and would sit and play the piano or organ and sing a hymn like a lark! Right up until her last day at home, Linda said her usual evening prayer where she would name every person she lived with and loved as her family. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. A Private Family Interment will take place at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Lampman, SK at a later date.
