Obituary of Maria Hack

HACK, Marie Banerd

Marie, late of Grenfell SK, a longtime resident of Regina, passed away Sunday, November 18, at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur; parents, Gustave and Katherine Banerd; brothers, John, (Margaret), Gus (Clara), Jacob, William, and Karl Banerd; sisters, Eleanor Plunz (Walter), Helen Schmidt (George), Barbara Krieger (Frank), Margaret Rathgeber (Bill), Kate Schienbein (Phillip); and brother-in-law Val Keller. Marie is lovingly remembered by her daughter Virginia Shyluk of Victoria; sons, Merle Hack of Grenfell and Gary Hack of New York; sister Clara Keller of Melville, SK; by Arthur’s family, Vern Hack, Julie Hack, Cathy Wagner, and Gilbert Hack (Judy Mathias); as well as by seven grandchildren, their spouses and partners; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.  Memorial Service will be held on a date to be determined, with Pastor Craig Moeller of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
