Obituary of Chuong Thi Le
Lê Thị Chuộng, late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the age of 95 years.
Born in Vietnam in 1923, Mrs. Lê supported her family through an arduous journey to Canada to escape the war. She lived a full life devoted to family and work in the community. Even though she started a new life in Canada, she continued to provide extensively for her siblings in Vietnam. In addition, Mrs. Lê provided financial donations and much of her time to the Hải Đức Tự Temple in Regina. As a result of her generosity, many in the Vietnamese community became Mrs. Lê’s extended family. A philanthropist at heart, Mrs. Lê attended several fundraising events throughout her life to support various reputable causes.
Lê Thị Chuộng was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dư Phẩm Phương; and son Dư Phước.
She is survived by her daughters, Dư Kim Hương (Vương Văn Cường) and Dư Kim Anh Đặng (Đặng Pháp Minh); her grandchildren, Dư Cầm An, Katherine Phan (Phan Chí Thành), Vương Bích Lệ (Huy Quang Phạm), Vương Bích Diễm (Nguyễn Ngọc Lưu Thứ), Vương Thoại Bằng (Lý Ngọc Anh), Vương Thoại Thông (Sarah Elizabeth Anne Vương), Đặng Chí Toàn (Lee Đặng), Đặng Ngọc Ngân; her great- grandchildren, Cameron Dư, Ayrian Dư, Anjelica Lê, Aaron Phan, Karina Phạm, Trisha Phạm, Miranda Phạm, Lydia Nguyễn, Anthony Nguyễn, Vương Thoại Long, Đặng Kim Phụng, Kim Long Kennedy; and her great-great-grandchild, Lucas Hammermeister.
She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.
