Obituary of Loreen Bogdane

The Family of late Loreen Bogdane (nee Buckoski) of Regina, SK, are saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born October 3, 1935 in Assiniboia, SK. Loreen spent her growing up years in the Assiniboia area and then moved to Regina in 1948. Loreen is survived by four children, sons Brad (Susan), Victor and Patrick; daughter Brenda; eight grandchildren; two great granddaughters;  two brothers Gus and Clarence (Val); sister Darlene (Bob Kett); and sister-in-law Shirley Buckosky. Loreen is also survived by the Bogdane family: sisters-in-law Josie (Jim Illingsworth) and Louise Bogdane; brother-in-law Raymond (Marie) Bogdane; as well as many nieces and nephews. Loreen was predeceased by her husband Dan Bogdane; parents Ambrose and Mary Buckoski; brother Dan Buckosky; and sister-in-law Terry Buckosky. Loreen’s family would like to thank the staff at Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital for their loving and tender care. A Celebration of Loreen’s Life will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Howard Ulmer officiating.
