Obituary of Douglas Maurice Joseph Lachambre

SEPTEMBER 4, 1951 – FEBRUARY 14, 2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Doug Lachambre late of Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his parents, Marcel and Blondina; brother Jamie; and two infant sisters at birth. Doug is survived by his partner, Betty Tarr (Boudreau), whom he reconnected with after meeting in high school many years ago and with whom he enjoyed the happiest 12 ½ years of his life. He is also survived by his daughter, Roxanne; grandson Jaden; brother Howard (Andrea); stepson Chris; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug was very proud of his 35 plus years as Coach Operator with STC and Greyhound and his 2,000,000 miles of accident-free driving. It was always his goal that his passengers had a comfortable and relaxing trip. “Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.” Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.
