Obituary of Ruth Faith Anne Argue

FEBRUARY 4, 1948 – MARCH 8, 2019

My most wonderful sister Ruthie slipped away peacefully in her sleep on Friday morning, March 8, 2019 at the age of 71 years.  Her parents, Mrs. Adelia Herman and Mr. J. A. Herman of Herman Brothers Trailer Court, were waiting for her, to take her into their arms again. Ruthie was born in Regina. She attended Marion McVeety elementary school and Marion high school. Ruthie received her English and Teaching Degrees from the University of Regina. She first taught grades one and two in Toronto, and then for 25 years in The Pas, Manitoba. Ruthie loved classical music, was an extremely talented pianist, a wonderful artist, and was the greatest in creativity and kindness to everyone. She leaves behind her brother Jesse Herman; sister Joanne Herman-Wickenheiser; and her son Gabriel Argue of Toronto, ON.  She loved her high school friends as well as the whole world. We will never forget you Ruthie! The family welcomes absolutely everyone to join them at a Celebration of Ruthie’s Life, being held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. The Lord was gracious to us when he gave Ruthie to the world. “Happy are those who sow beside all water…” “O Lord, you are gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.” Isaiah 33:1
