Obituary of Emma Wilhelmine Timnick Elliot

EMMA WILHELMINE TIMNICK ELLIOT September 4, 1920 - February 23, 2013 Emma passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was born in Russia and came to Canada with her family in 1928. Until retirement, she worked for the Province of Saskatchewan for most of her adult life. As well as managing a demanding career, she always made sure her family was well looked after and always had time for friends. Emma was an accomplished woman with many talents. She was very kind and generous. She was predeceased by her parents Gustav and Otillia Timnick; sister Bertha Timnick; brother Andrew Timnick and her husband Archie Elliot. Emma is survived by her daughter Ruth Ann Tannahill; granddaughter Jessica Tannahill; brother Henry Timnick; sister Ruth Timnick as well as her nieces, nephews and their families. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. The family is very thankful for the kind and loving care provided by Parkside Extendicare staff.
